Since the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with China, Peru's agricultural exports, especially fruit, have risen sharply.
"The FTA with China has so far been very positive for Peru. In some product lines, we have doubled exports, particularly agricultural exports such as mangoes and grapes," said Carlos Posada, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade.
Entered into force in last March, the FTA, with China has also created many business opportunities. Peruvian companies have a high potential for partnerships with Chinese companies for joint ventures, both in Peru and China.
