Elections in AREFLH

AREFLH, which brings together 27 European regions producing fruit and vegetables, has held the General Assembly: the 27 fruit and vegetable areas of Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Greece belonging to AREFLH, met for the 13th general meeting in Nantes (France ). The discussions focused on the future of European horticulture, the CAP reforms and new challenges to be met.

During the assembly, elections were held for the next three years' positions. Josep Maria Pelegri la Aixut, Director of Agriculture and representative of the Generalitat de Catalunya, was appointed for presidency . Luciano Trentini was confirmed as President of the Board of producer and vice president of the Association.
