Israeli citrus production increases

Israeli citrus production is expected to increase by 15 percent to 575,000 tonnes in 2004. The increase is due to favourable weather conditions and to a high yield this year. Israeli citrus exports are expected to increase by 8 percent this year, with the majority of the fruit going to the EU.
