Additional tax on nuts from Ukraine

Turkey establishes an additional tax of 23% of Ukrainian walnut.

 

With this new law, the total amount of taxes on Ukrainian nuts now amounts to 66.2%. Taxes applied to nuts imported from EU, from EFTA  member countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland) or from Georgia is maintained at 44.2%.

 

In Ukraine, where the nut producers are outraged and find that this new tax comes in response to the restrictions made ??by the country on imports of cars. Different had opposed the two countries on the Ukrainian tax applied to cars imported from Turkey.
