End of the strike in Chilean ports, exports resumed.

A strike, which began on January 3, disrupted and paralyzedles the activities in Chilean ports.

After days of conflict and hours of negotiations, the government and the dockers' union have reached an agreement.

Preliminary agreement, according to the union which believes that these agreements are close to their demands but fail to satisfy all claims. According to the port authorities, the main objective that contributed to this agreement, is the desire to limit the economic damage of the whole chain (producers, transporters, customs brokers, importers, exporters, employees of different sectors).
