Satisfactory balance for exports

The 2012-13 campaign for Argentinian blueberries registered almost the same volume produced in the previous campaign.
In Argentina, the 2012-13 campaign was satisfactory, despite the weather conditions experienced. On the whole, 15,069 tons of blueberries were exported, that is nearly the same volume - 15,803 tons - exported during the 2011-12 campaign.
The 2012-13 campaign had started with high volumes, rapidly increasing, but rains in October led to a decline in production. The final volume of exports - 15,069 tons - is close to the initial forecast of 15,486 tons exported.
The United States are always the first country for exports, with 63% volume, -2% compared to the previous campaign. For this 2012-13 campaign, exports by air were 93% versus 79% in 2011-12.
