30 years for Freshuelva, which began the celebrations of its anniversary at Fruit Logistica 2013

Freshuelva, the Association of Producers and Exporters of Huelva strawberries, celebrates 30 years.

Freshuelva is now one of the mainstays of the economy of the region. The Freshuelva association currently represents more than 95% of the sector strawberries and berries.

Since its inception, Freshuelva has evolved considerably. Growth of production and exports, adoption of new standards, product diversification (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries). Freshuelva activities have resulted in a greater ability to export from the whole region. During the first half of 2012, exports of strawberries reached 262,742 tons (20.2% more than the same period last year). The main destinations were Germany (33.91%) and France (27.06%).
