Argentina
Sunday 06 January 2008
The harvest fruits of this summer season in Argentina fell 11% compared to the previous one, with 528 thousand tons and will be the lowest in past four years. For frost and hail, the hardest hit were peach and plum for fresh consumption, it is estimated that the price can go up these days. A situation that strikes many producers and that, unfortunately, will be moved to consumers.
