Mangos : crop forecast in decrease

This season the Australian mango production will be down sharply.

AMIA (Australian Mango Industry Association ) forecasts for the 2015/16 harvest of about 8 million trays of mangoes .

The Queensland region is expected to produce 3.8 million trays of mangoes , the region Northern Territory 3.6 million sets, and the rest in three other regions ( Western Australia, New South Wales, Victoria) .

If these forecasts materialize, the 2015/16 harvest will be well below the 9.5 million trays of products of last year.
