Mexico avocado has earned the lion's share in the US market

The Mexican avocado reigns supremely on the US market where it holds 78% market share .

Constant increase in exports to the United States for Mexican avocados who rose from 6 000 tonnes ( 97-98 season ) to 687 000 tonnes ( 2014-15 season ) . The Ministry of Agriculture compiling exports for the first 11 months of 2015 reached a total of $ 413 million of revenue.

US demand remains strong and professionals and believe that 2016 will see a new record for exports of Mexican avocados.
