CMA CGM is growing in Africa with a strategic location

Following a call offer issued by the Government of Cameroon , the consortium made ??up of French CMA CGM and Bollore , and Chinese CHEC ( China Harbour Engineering Company ) won the concession for a period of 25 years .

The container terminal will have a capacity of 1.4 million TEUs and can accommodate vessels of 8000 TEUs of any shipping company.This terminal will be destined to become a regional hub for the entire Atlantic coast of Africa , from Senegal to Gabon. Connected by high-capacity ships to European and Asian markets , it will also supply countries without maritime access ( Chad , Central African Republic).

With this terminal, CMA CGM completes its transport offer in Africa that already included its maritime lines and terrestrial services.
