A citrus grower in central Queensland will plant 180,000 fruit trees this year, as the industry tries to recover from a 2004 canker outbreak.
The State Government has approved replanting from July 1 and will conduct regular inspections over the first 18 months.
The project will result in one of Australia's biggest privately-owned orchards.
