DEL MONTE plans for 2018 its first processing factory in France

 

 

 

Planned for 2018, the plant in Croixrault (Somme) will be supplied by about one hundred local producers for vegetables and certain fruits. For all other products (off-season, exotic), the factory can easily receive them from neighboring ports, such as Antwerp, which are directly accessible via the A16 or A1 motorways.

 

 

 

The future factory will be located halfway between its supply centers and the region of Paris, the main area of consumption of its products.

 

 

 

Pre-cut, vacuum and preservative-free fruit and vegetables have conquered consumers accordingly their market share is expected to reach 300 million euros within five years.
