The new regulations by the Ministry of Agriculture plans to increase the concentration of agricultural cooperatives.
 
 
 
The economic crisis in the country has increased the problems of management of these companies, has  increased their debts and paralyzed investment. The concentration will help to achieve better profitability, increase sales and exports.
 
 
 
Andalucía is the region that has the largest number of cooperatives (653), followed by Castilla-La Mancha (496) and Valencia (356).
