A menu less than 400 calories, but the hamburger "Angus Bacon and Cheese" with 790 calories is still available ....
McDonald's has revolutionised its display of calories and plans additional fruits and vegetables.
Since September 17, the 14,000 U.S. McDonald's restaurants display calorie content of their products. More fruits and vegetables are planned such as for the Happy Meal, where apples replaces the traditional dessert.
It is a response to consumer demand, but also the willingness of the company to follow the trend towards healthier products and limited calories.
These initiatives will lead to the entire fast food sector making similar changes. McDonald's restaurants serve 25 million customers each day in the United States.
