More than 2 million Kilos of olives of Villanueva of the Conception

More than 2 million kilograms of olives was collected in this campaign in the facilities of the farmers Cooperative in Villanueva of the Conception. This Saturday the harvest closes its doors. The number of 2 million kilograms of olives is quite well, considering that this campaign has been shorter than the previous ones. Perhaps in a normal harvest it could be reached about 3 million kilograms. In the purchases the price of the kg of olives has moved between the 37 and 41 eurocents. Soon they will know what price will be paid in the Cooperative, but it is foreseeable that it starts around 48 or 50 eurocents if the present prices of the market stay for a longer period of time.
