The National Association of Broccoli producers announced that the consumption in Spain has increased fivefold in less than 5 years.
Consumption increased from 200 g/person/year in 2010 to 900 g/person/year in 2014. Broccoli Spanish producers have welcomed these figures announced at their General Assembly. They attribute them to campaigns and initiatives they have undertaken in recent years to make broccoli known to consumers.
