GreenTech Amsterdam awarded innovation excellence with robotics
Expert judges have chosen the winner of the Robot Challenge: SAIA Agrobotics.
Erik Pekkeriet the jury chairman of Greentech Robot Challenge explains: “Moving from doubt to hope, and now to trust. What they’re building is highly disruptive, with a level of innovation excellence that has the potential to transform the entire sector." Yesturday and today sessions at Greentech focus on optical systems, the greenhouse of the future, CO₂ sourcing, pest control with lasers, and autonomous water management, all showcasing the cutting edge of horticulture innovation.
GreenTech Amsterdam is held from Tuesday 10 until Thursday 12 June 2025. The exhibition is a global meeting place for all horticultural technology professionals with a focus on the early stages of the horticultural chain and the current issues growers face. GreenTech is supported by AVAG, the industry association for the greenhouse technology sector in the Netherlands.
