New Plant for Jean Martin
France
Wednesday 09 April 2008
The French company Jean Martin – specialized in the preparation of Mediterranean and Provence convenience food – will build a new manufacturing plant in Tarascon (Southern France). The 28,000-square-meter site will also host the group’s warehouse.
Jean Martin’s headquarters will remain in Maussane; however, the cannery facility will be moved at the beginning of 2009 and then the olives confectionery will also be relocated in the new facility.
Thanks to the new plant, the group, which offers a range of more than 40 products, expects that its production will double within the 10 next years and that exports will increase.
Jean Martin’s turnover for 2007 amounted to € 7.3 million.
