The world’s first emissions-free peroxide generator.

In December 2020, in Hermisan, an irrigation and agriculture company based near Alicante, Spain, HPNow presented the world’s first full implementation of Power-to-Peroxide. The installation has enabled the company to produce peroxide by using power and water only.
Arnau Verdaguer, Director of Products at HPNow, explained that peroxide can be produced directly on-site, without any logistics or transport.
Moreover, solar power peroxide can be produced without emissions of CO2 and toxic waste, unlike the traditional bulk peroxide production and supply chain which emits up to 3 tons of GHG and 10 tons of toxic waste per ton delivered on-site.
No toxic waste and CO2 emissions. Hermisan referred to HPNow for a solution to produce hydrogen peroxide on-site by using only solar power and water, with a view to reduce chemical inputs for their water treatment, and the related to logistical costs.
As a result, they set the HPGen system, which generates hydrogen peroxide directly on-site and is connected with the solar panels supplying energy, without any CO2 emissions, transport or waste generated during the process.
Generated Peroxide UltraPure™ is then added in the irrigation lines, ensuring a uniform irrigation and a healthier crop.
About HPNow. The company is focused on growing global challenges in clean water and sanitation through its diapason of autonomous, on-site and sustainable hydrogen peroxide generation solutions.
Their headquarters is in Copenhagen, plus they have representatives around Europe, Asia and the Americas.
