The decrease of Belgian vegetables export to Germany

The volume of Belgian vegetables exported to Germany fell by 17%, with turnover dropping by 10%.
The drop in the volume of field vegetables such as leeks is down by 18% and the supply of tomatoes also fell by 13%.
However in other vegetable crops the situation was much better. For example, cauliflower exports reportedly rose by 66%, and other brassicas by 126%. Increases were also recorded for sweet peppers (up 16%), witloof chicory (up 9%) and lettuce (up 7%).
