NL: Fresh Park Venlo accelerated growth

In coming years, the turnover of the Limburg logistics Fresh Park in Venlo will grow significantly. Target of Fresh Park Venlo is to achieve within the next ten years the turnover of 2 billion euros.

 

Apart from the development of the growing areas for greenhouse vegetables, it is mainly the expansion of Fresh Park and the Trade Port North. The total surface of the site is 130 hectares.  Today there are 95 fully developed hectares of which 10 hectares are ready for sale or rent. The end of building trimordial container terminal allows the containerized freight  increasingly shifted to rail.

Previous year 2008 was devoted to the separation between the actual fruit and vegetable business of ZON fruit & vegetables and the real estate market Fresh Park Venlo.
