Belgian packaging company awarded EcoVadis Gold Medal for sustainability and ethical standards

Tosca, a global provider of reusable plastic packaging and pooling solutions, has received the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the second year in a row, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed for sustainability worldwide. This recognition highlights Tosca’s ongoing efforts to improve its environmental and ethical practices across its operations.

The EcoVadis award evaluates companies in four key areas: environmental impact, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Tosca’s strong performance in these areas reflects the effectiveness of its sustainability management and its commitment to responsible practices throughout its supply chain.

Karin Witton, Global Director of Sustainability, noted that receiving the EcoVadis Gold Medal for a second consecutive year reflects the strength and consistency of their sustainability strategy. She expressed satisfaction with the recognition, highlighting it as a result of the team’s ongoing dedication and effort. Witton emphasized that their long-term approach continues to drive progress, reinforcing their commitment to building a more sustainable future.

Over the past year, Tosca focused on improving how it sources materials, enhancing environmental efforts, promoting diversity and inclusion, and upgrading its data systems to better track progress. As part of its 2030 sustainability strategy, the company also refined how it selects and manages suppliers and invested in employee development.
