Port of Hueneme will celebrate the completion of its harbor deepening project

Located in Ventura County, Southern California, the Port of Hueneme is the only deepwater port between the Port of Long Beach in Los Angeles and the Port of San Francisco.
The port is a landing site for products bound for the Los Angeles basin and an export site for agricultural products.
On June 28, 2021, the Port of Hueneme will celebrate the completion of its harbor deepening project. This project represents a joint work between the Port, Naval Base Ventura County, US Army Corps of Engineers, among other partnerships and will support the development of imports and exports, reduce congestion, and help create and sustain well paid jobs at the Port and in the region.
