The American giant of ice cream launches surprising flavors in Japan.
Häagen-Dazs will launch in Japan new ice cream: the "Spoon Vege", the 1st ice cream with vegetables, with 2 flavors-Cherry Tomato and Carrot-Orange.
Strange combinations, but according to Häagen-Dazs Japan, the fruity cherry juice accentuates the pleasant taste of tomato ice cream. And the pulp and orange zest bring a refreshing touch to the flavor of carrot.
To reassure the undecided, the company also states that these ie creams with vegetables contain only 8.5% of fat milk, or by half less of traditional flavors.
The "Spoon Vege" will be available in Japan from May 12 at 2.80 US $ per pot. Häagen-Dazs has not indicated whether these new flavors will also be launched in the United States or around the world.
