Lower demand for Polish apples in Russia

Russian market is saturated with Polish apples at the moment.
Last week export of red varieties and Idared from the surroundings of Grójec has decreased considerably.
On Wednesday, 4 February the prices of apples 70+ were 0.60-0.65 PLN (0.128–0.139 euro)/kg for Idared and 0.50-0.60 PLN (0.107-0.128 euro)/kg for red varieties (prices without packaging).
In Russia there is still demand for Golden Delicious and Mutsu and on Wednesday their prices were 1.20 PLN(0.257 euro)/kg for Golden and 1.30 PLN (0.278 euro)/kg for Mutsu.
