Producer of melons 10 months out of 12, Soldive offers for the year-end holiday period, melons from Senegal which have the same taste qualities as those grown in France, during the whole summer.
Soldive Melon, benchmark on the off-season market of Christmas , comes from Senegal.
Soldive Senegal began the production of Charentais melons. Soldive is located in St. Louis, along the Senegal River, since 2006 in order to produce a Charentais melon of excellent quality. Exploitation of 50 hectares produces 1,000 tons of melons from mid-November to early January and from March to mid April.
Since its installation in Senegal, Soldive is integral with local populations and contributes to many books (channel of drinking water, provision of electricity, restoration of a clinic) and various aids (purchase of a new ambulance , financing surgery in France).
