Fruit Attraction 2019 will welcome India and Singapore as guest importing countries, more than 200 operators from these 2 countries are expected.
In line with its objective of encouraging fruit and vegetable trade between EU countries and other non-European markets, Fruit Attraction 2019 will have India and Singapore as guest importing countries.
Fruit Attraction 2019 will welcome managers as well as the main players in these two markets. More than 200 traders, purchasing managers, operators, importers and retailers from India and Singapore will be present. These countries will also be the protagonists of the World Fresh Forum, the business networking space jointly organized with ICEX, which will address business relations between these countries and present business opportunities.
In recent years, fresh fruit and vegetable exports from Spain and the EU to Singapore have experienced positive growth, which has been one of the main factors behind Singapore's choice as a country invited to the next edition of FRUIT ATTRACTION. Singapore is also an important distribution center for neighboring countries.
India has also experienced positive growth as an importer of Spanish and European fruits and vegetables. Volumes are still small, so FRUIT ATTRACTION can help improve the industry's position in this market.
Southern Europe is becoming more and more important as the new global fast-growing fruit and vegetable hub, and is Europe's gateway to Latin America, positioning Fruit Attraction strategically as the main international platform and the center of fresh produce operators.
