Carrefour and Tesco candidates for the repurchase of Zabka

The two European giants of the distribution, Carrefour (for France) and Tesco (for the United Kingdom) are among the candidates to buy the Polish distributor Zabka.

Zabka has a network of 2,300 stores in Poland and in Czech Republic. In Poland, Zabka has a network of stores under the name Freshmarket.

The amount of the transaction is estimated at 300 million euros. It would be only 4 candidates for redemption: two financial investors and Tesco and Carrefour.

The final decision on the transfer of Zabka should be taken in January.
