Kuehne + Nagel has announced that it has agreed to buy Perishables International Transportation Inc., Vancouver, Canada. PIT is an independent forwarder

, specialising in the handling and transportation of fresh and frozen products. Based in Vancouver Airport, PIT is considered a leading player in Canada.

This acquisition will enable Kuehne + Nagel to strengthen its market position in air freight in Canada and increase its activities in North America.
