Oranges suffer from Etna's rains of ashes

Sicily is having huge quality problems with its oranges that suffer from Etna's rains of ashes. Indeed, Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for Italy, reports that oranges have been covered with a fine crystal film which, once in contact with the fruit, leaves a mark like a burn that deteriorates the fruit quality.
