Bad season for the walnut of Grenoble

Tony Bongiovanni, Fructidor's country manager for France, reports that the campaign 2003 is not so good for the walnut of Grenoble, due to this summer heat. Indeed, growers couldn't water their walnut trees and now estimate their production 30 to 50% down compared with last year. The majority of the fruit will be small ones.
