Summerfruit acquired the rights for a new yellow kiwi

New kiwi yellow for Summerfruit which acquired its rights.

The new kiwi - that is now called AC1536 - is the result of years of research in two Italian universities, Bologna and Udine. The search for partners for this new variety has led to an agreement with Summerfruit, which acquired the rights of the kiwi on last February 5th.

The first harvests are expected this year. AC1536 is a kiwi fruit with yellow flesh that can be produced in September in the northern hemisphere and in February-March in the southern hemisphere. Good organoleptic qualities, interesting yield, disease resistance, good preservation capacity.
