The Grand Prix Innovafel is the only competition in France dedicated to innovation in Fruits and Vegetables. Products are assessed on their innovative capacity to promote consumption of fruits and vegetables, fresh or processed.
Grand Prix Innovafel 2012 winners :
1st Prize: Arti-Free (Cooperative La Bretonne)
An artichoke ready for consumption without preparation. Presented in a clear bowl, the artichoke is ready preparted be steamed and eaten.
2nd Prize: Crud'Wich (Les Crudettes)
Salad sandwich. A wrap or a lettuce leaf covers seasoned couscous. Available in 4 recipes: chicken-parmesan, feta, cucumber, ham, egg, tuna and tomato.
3rd Prize: Choudou (Larrère et fils)
The Choudou is an old variety of flat cabbage and has many advantages: fine taste, can be eaten raw or cooked, ultra digestible, no smell when cooking and long conservation.
