The new ripening center of Citronex includes 119 ripening chambers with a capacity of 145 000 boxes.
Citronex has built a warehouse with the space of 10 000 square meters close to the German border.
This center includes 119 ripening chambers with a capacity of 145,000 boxes by week.
Bananas arrive directly from Ecuador, Colombia and Mexico. Last year, imports exceeded 4 million boxes.
To reduce distribution costs, Citronex buy directly from plantations, organizes its own sea transports, and uses refrigeration trucks.
Citronex holds over the half of banana market in Poland and they export in Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Belarus, Rumania, and Ukraine.
