Exports of agricultural products reported USD 9.7 billion in 1st quarter. The majority of these exports took the lead to China.
To increase exports, the sector of fruits and vegetables wants to emerge from this dependence on its powerful neighbor. Increase exports to other markets such as Japan, Singapore, Korea, Europe or again the United States.
Vietnam has signed a free trade agreement with seven Asian countries and began negotiations with the European Union, further talks are underway with the United States and Korea.
