Small fee for Skype

One of EBay's broader strategies consists in expanding the product offerings and revenue of Skype, its Internet calling service. It has been accordingly announced that an annual fee of $30 for unlimited international calls to land-line and mobile phones will start to be effective as of January 2006 within the US and Canada. EBay declares that such new annual fee is however still low compared to other Internet calling service providers.
