Change at the top of the FEFPEB

After a mandate of eight years, Gil Covey left the presidency of the FEFPEB (Federation of European manufacturers of pallets and wood packaging). He is now the treasurer.

At the head of the organization, Rob van Hoesel (Netherlands) becomes the president and Michael Modugno (France), Vice-President. Other positions of the Executive Committee are held by Roberto FEFPEB Gavardini (Italy), Alberto Palmi (Spain), Marc Michielsen (Belgium), Paulo Verdasca (Portugal) and Fons Ceelaert, general secretary of the FEFPEB.

Interpal VIII, which was held during the 64th Congress FEFPEB, welcomed the "significant progress" in the pallet industry and wood packaging to a harmonization of phytosanitary measures ISPM 15 at international level. The event was attended by international industry representatives came from Europe, the United States, Canada, South Africa, Australia and, for the first time, China

The Congress FEFPEB is held annually to analyse the progress achieved in the field of wooden packaging and pallets in Europe; every four years, it is held simultaneously to Interpal, a meeting held alternately in the United States, Canada and Europe and dedicated to international industry representatives.
