The conflict in Gaza has damaged many crops, causing shortages and rising prices of vegetables.
The military operation against Gaza has disrupted agricultural production.
Farms along the Gaza Strip account for 70% of the country's crops. Fields under fire prevented farmers from cultivating and harvesting. Most crops are lost and have caused severe shortage and soaring
prices.
The price of tomatoes has doubled and the price of peppers, turnips, potatoes, cucumbers are rising and are expected to increase. Damage to crops will affect consumers even after the cease-fire.
