The French tomato market

The French tomato market represents 13% of the exports, mainly to Germany, and 30% of the imports (Spain & Morocco). If the 2001 campaign wasn't as profitable as the 2000's, the 2002 season looks promising with a forecasted production of 150 000 tons, including 120 000 tons for the south-east basin.
