New logistics platform of CMA CGM in Douala

3CTC called terminal (CMA CGM Cameroon Container Terminal), this new platform strengthens the presence of the Group in Cameroon and illustrates its land development strategy.

The 3CTC platform is located between the ring road of Douala and the port area, where it occupies an area of ??2 hectares. It allows it to offer clients: storage containers, empty or full, in a secure area, as well as the movement of goods by land, but also in Cameroon to Chad and the Central African Republic.

This platform will strengthen the Group's presence in Cameroon. With ships Escalant 2 times a week in Douala, Cameroon already offers industrial solutions for import and export with the world. CMA CGM has now the ambition to become a major partner in the development of this country.

This platform is also a perfect illustration of the earth's development strategy CMA CGM. Gathered into a single entity, DCIS (CMA CGM Inland Services), the Group opened last year 1 platform in Dakar (Senegal) and implemented in the last 2 years 14 terrestrial hubs, creating corridors transport between the countries of the interior and coastal countries.
