Organic fruit growing

In 1999, Austria counted 600 hectares of organic fruit trees, that is to say 10% of the Austrian fruit production. Today, areas have widen : Styrie, a region that produces 75% of the country' s fruit, counts nearly 500 ha of organic, including 200 ha of apple trees.
