Live from Sitevi (Montpellier, France): ALT'DERIVES the neighborhood protection solution proposed by FILPACK

The cohabitation between farmers and the neighborhood becomes sometimes difficult. Especially during phytosanitary treatments. FILPACK offers ALT'DERIVES its protective solution.

 

 

 

Some French departments have taken the decision to ban phytosanitary treatments next to sensitive areas (Schools, Hospitals, Retirement Homes, etc.), due to legal action or media pressure.

 

 

 

FILPACK to develop an effective solution has worked with competent organizations that have checked and validated the tests made in real outdoor conditions. ALT'DERIVES is a system that allows very quickly to establish a physical barrier to the drift of phytosanitary products in the absence of green hedge or other protection.

 

 

 

For this system, it is sufficient to provide posts, a top cable, the ALT'DERIVES net and lifting tubes, a crank or gearbox. The installation can be done without any difficulty.

 

 

 

The net is deployed only during treatments. The rest of the time the net is wrapped at the top of the poles on a tube, so almost invisible. This manipulation is done by one person using a hand crank. This operation is possible thanks to the use of specially developed PVC profiles. It is thus possible to raise about 100m linear on 4m height.
