Petition in bankruptcy for Mycal

Mycal, the Japanese giant of distribution, has filed its petition for bankruptcy. The number fourth of distribution chains in Japan runs 233 supermarkets, department stores and other businesses and employs 61 411 people. The group is said to be in talk with the US Wal-Mart in order to get support.
