Pagoda China expands international operations with Indonesia
Bai Guo Yuan group (Pagoda) highlights at Asia Fruit Logistica its increased sustainability focus on B2B domestic operations, new stores in Indonesia and frui export from China.
On 3rd September, the 18th Asia International Fruit & Vegetable Exhibition commenced at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong. Leading domestic fruit retailer Baitian Garden (Pagoda Group) , alongside subsidiary Jinchengtai, exhibited at the event with an impressive stand. Through consistent annual attendance, the company continues to showcase its supply chain capabilities and brand-building strengths to global partners and prospective clients, thereby better realizing its vision of sourcing globally and selling globally.
Over 800 suppliers from 26 countries
Pagoda started overseas fruit in 2012 and established numerus direct procurement partnerships. With over 800 premium fruit bases across 26 countries worldwide, Pagoda sources directly today nearly 1,000 varieties. This has significantly enriched the domestic fruit market supply and addressed seasonal gaps in locally available produce.
Continued domestic improvements with imported varieties
It is widely recognized that the fruit supply sector has undergone profound structural adjustments in recent years. The substitution effect of domestically produced fruits such as blueberries, durians, and passion fruits for imported varieties has become increasingly pronounced. The growing international recognition of Chinese-grown fruits has driven continuous optimization of import-export structures.
Export programs
Pagoda established its International Export Division to promote domestically and globally sourced premium fruits to overseas markets, thereby expanding and diversifying its B2B export operations. Branded products such as Liangzhi apples, Naixiong apricots, and the exclusive & signature Xiao Xianzi passion fruit (Jin Du # 3 variety) have all been successfully marketed across Southeast Asian nations. Its subsidiary, Haiyang Jinchengtai, consistently supplies premium domestic fruits such as apples, pears, and citrus to markets in Hong Kong, Southeast Asia, and North America, enabling global consumers to savour China's finest produce. A representative from Haiyang Jinchengtai indicated that the company achieved export sales of nearly 36 million euros in 2024.
Online B2B and B2C sales

It is expanding cooperation with leading domestic enterprises, provincial trade unions, and key partners to develop emerging products and enrich category offerings. These initiatives have driven substantial growth in domestic B2B operations, with wholesale sales alone reaching RMB 522 million from January to July.
