Negotiations of merger between the two companies were stopped.
Merger between Zon and Fruitmasters will not be made. Managements of both companies decided not to pursue the negotiations.
These last months, representatives of Zon and Fruitmasters with external experts had studied the potential of a possible merger.
But this study showed insuperable differences between organizations of both companies on marketing.
In spite of other advantages, these differences of marketing are not compatible; decision was taken to stop negotiations of merger. Both companies keep their independence.
