D.Fruits LLC from Azerbaijan will starts cherry season in April

  Mr Tarlan Hamidov, CEO of D.Fruits LLC explains: «Harvesting of cherries is usually carried out from April-May till the end of  July. Today we are cultivating 22 sorts of cherries and working on selecting of 4 more early sorts (harvesting on May 16-17). DAD cherry is different by its sweet juicy taste, its berries strong and crunchy. Long term of storage is depending on the special conditions of cultivation and harvesting.

 We strive to maximally automate all business processes. Our factories are equipped with two storage systems that provide an individual approach to the storage of various sorts».

 «Our orchards are equipped with automatic irrigation systems. – continued Mr Tarlan Hamidov. - Color, taste and hardness control for each grade of fruits is conducted 10 days before the harvest. After harvesting the fruits are sorted by their color, size and quality. Calibrated fruits are packed and labeled for the first and second commercial grades (based on visual signs of the presence or absence of minor damages). Packaging is made taking into account the time required for transportation, and for long-term transportation there is used special packaging that allows to preserve fruits and berries fresh longer».

  Till 2015 company has sold its produce to Russia and local market until. And now  it has started exporting fruits to other markets as UAE, Maldives, Malaysia, Hong-Kong, and is looking for additional markets.
