According to an estimate from the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Iran is expected to produce 1.2 million tonnes of dates in the current calendar year which ends on March 20, 2022.
In the first 4 months of the current calendar year (March 20-July 21) Iran exported more than 60,000 tonnes of dates to 52 countries, said IRICA, the Customs Administration. In value, these exports over 4 months represented 53.051 million USD.
