Berry Pop: strawberry variety propagated by seed

Miyoshi, a Japanese strawberry breeder with 30 years of history, has recently presented its stellar Berry Pop strawberry at Fruit Logistica 2023.

“Following 8 years of investigation and hard work, we finally obtained a variety propagated by seed. Our Berry Pop strawberry stands out for its excellent quality and sweetness. Generally speaking, the Japanese strain is much sweeter than any other variety in the world.”, says Seiichi Miyoshi, Miyoshi СЕО. 

“The season for Berry Pop lasts from July through September. Actually, some of our customers who specialise in vertical farming are trying to produce our variety all year round, and we are looking forward to knowing the first results. We already distribute our seeds to the UK, the Netherlands, France, the U.S., China, Korea, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, and we seek to expand our geography.”, concludes the CEO.
