Pineapple exports value increased +117%

Peruvian pineapple exports in 2021 totaled 298.855 kilos worth $5,533,741, according to the Agrodata Peru portal.

It should be noted that in 2020, the supplies of said fruit totaled 233,220 kilos, a volume slightly lower than that exported in 2021. However, the value achieved in 2020 was significantly lower (-117%), totaling $2,545,372.

The main destination market for Peruvian pineapple in 2021 was the United States, with placements for $5.4 million.
